Yard to store 4-12 car consists.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for or have space for, but it's a starting point if nothing else. All .curves and switches are O72. As you can see, minimum length is around 22' and that's without a long lead track

Since I don't know anything about tubular track, here's an added version using 5165/5166 switches with 5572 curves so you can gauge the difference. If that's not the right track , let me know.

And once again the FT "bug" in SCARM bites me. Take a look at the new configuration with regards to the switches, they need that silly extra filler piece where half the roadbed is cut off.  RR-Track doesn't let us connect pieces to the switch without it, but SCARM does. Sorry, I should have checked.

Mr.DOUBLEDAZ Can you tell me how wide the four tracks will be? I am building benchwork and I need to know how wide to make it. I was thinking 24 inches will be enough? Thanks for your help Nick

Nick, if I have the dimensions of FasTrack correct, the tracks themselves are 4" wide (black rectangles). So, the 4 tracks that make up the yard will measure 22" from the outside edges of the track roadbed (gray rectangle). They will measure 25.5" from the edge of the mainline track (green rectangle). Top edge to bottom edge of all 5 tracks will measure 29.5". HTH

Thanks. The only reference I would find was in a thread here that said 4", so that's what I used.

I will be building it out an extra 12 inches or more in width. Knowing myself I will wind up adding a 5th-6-7-8 etc etc LOL I have lost my mind. Nick
