I want to add a consist storage area starting out with one strait lead off my lower main line transitioning into four 150 inch storage tracks. I want them to be parallel and as close to each other as possible. I want 0-72 curves. I use Fastrak. Can any of you experts post a track plan for me? I am tired of building a consist every time I run trains. It would be nice to just couple up and pull. Thanks Nick

Yes you cant beat the Layout construction forums NO nonsense here! Nick

And once again the FT "bug" in SCARM bites me. Take a look at the new configuration with regards to the switches, they need that silly extra filler piece where half the roadbed is cut off.  RR-Track doesn't let us connect pieces to the switch without it, but SCARM does. Sorry, I should have checked.

Nick, if I have the dimensions of FasTrack correct, the tracks themselves are 4" wide (black rectangles). So, the 4 tracks that make up the yard will measure 22" from the outside edges of the track roadbed (gray rectangle). They will measure 25.5" from the edge of the mainline track (green rectangle). Top edge to bottom edge of all 5 tracks will measure 29.5". HTH
