Well here's the 2013 version of the Lionel Polar Express and Dept. 56 A Christmas Story layout.

   Thanks for starting the Christmas layout thread!  I especially like OK's Hikers Tin Christmas layout this year, simply fantastic stuff.  Real nice Christmas layouts everyone great stuff.  I will post some pictures later on, we are just getting started at this point.

So fun to see the incredible layouts!  I'm very new to the hobby, but here is a video of the Christmas village layout my kids and I put together. 

I just have to add a few more.

Here's my pictures of this years Christmas layout. It's a simple oval.

Health issues and space problems will not let me put up a train garden this year.

Perhaps these from 2012 can substitute for now....until 2014 rolls around.

Hopefully, we will all be around again next year!

Many thanks for posting pictures of your layout last year. It more than suffices. Nice job with it.

Finally got a replacement cable for the camera so I can post pictures again. The Atlas Coca-Cola truck got it's new Christmas lighting.

My latest Christmas Car creation.  Using two AA battery operated signs.  The battery packs are in the flat car under the people.  Just push back the snow to access the on/off switches.

   The Pine Creek RailRoad Christmas layout has started Construction, 3 Tin Plate Cranes, have been brought in to manage the major construction, the big 810 & 2 smaller 2660 Cranes Car unload the Erie Gondola Car, even as illegals are chased from the train, as Santa watches on in the background.

Alan Miller:Il  ike your idea of spreading the Christmas pics over two editions of OGR. I have always wondered why you didn't take that approach due to the timing of the issues.

The bell car is the neatest thing. Can you hear it ring?

A few shots of my modest Christmas "platform."  It's 5x8 feet; classic twice around the tree design. I limited some of my scenery this year since my grandsons & dog like to mess with it a little too much.
