How were these used and wired up with vintage transformers?

Prewar or postwar?
The postwar 91 is just wired in series with the center rail power(lockon clip 1). The prewar version is used similarly but has two ranges and three binding posts.

There is a common, & the two ranges high & low. Pick one, wire in series with the center rail power(lockon clip 1) and test.
Thanks! Does the light come on when it is tripped?
It is supposed to.
I tested it and it works, but what does high and low range mean?
High would mean more amps to trip. I believe the breaker needs to be reset if opened.
Thanks for your help Rob and Jim.

The circuit breaker automatically resets itself when the' short' is removed.
The mechanism is a solenoid that breaks the circuit at specified current levels.

Thank you for the correction. A friend of mine ruined some stuff by having a ZW recycle all day. He put the 91 in so that it would not recycle. I will have to tell him this.
Mine is not hooked up and only used for decoration.
