Has anybody ever seen an A Frame house kit in o scale, either a kit or prebuilt one? In my googling I have only been able to find N and HO available, and I need a pair for my Christmas layout.

I can send you a photo of my A frame house and you can scratch build one. Not very complicated. I have a small roof extension where the front door is and a deck in the back.
That would be cool! Ive never scratch built anything before, though. Is there a good primer on it that you know of that I could review?

would b an easy scratch build. u can get some basswood at hobby stores or online including flat wall sections and strip wood (for bracing). it's a really good wood for building with strength yet easy to cut. since u haven't done this before, i would do a cardboard mock-up to make sure you like the size and have templates for the walls, etc. u can get doors etc. at tichy.com. or grandtline. use acrylic paints from any craft store like michael's (they're water solvable and r easy cleanup) maybe watch a youtube video and you'll have something you'll be proud of.

do you guys like any specific shingle brand/type for these? Since that's the majority of what is showing on an Aframe, I figure it should be something good quality.
