Ted, It reminds me of my home where I grew up. We lived next to a dairy farm, beside a pasture that couldn’t be seen from the barn and house. Every so often cows would get out and into our lower field.

Hey Mark , if all Paul's people do the coffee and soda,.... I think there are going to have to keep disappearing to make restroom visits. 😉 Maybe some type of magnetic track below the pavement in and out of the buildings !!?? 🤔

Mike, my wife had a hobby tack, I'll call it, that she used for crafts...available in the shape of a bar of soap from one of the main hobby / craft stores. It's gray and "claylike" and the adhesion isn't permanent. You can easily lift the people and move them around.

Hot Glue will soften with heat gun.... hair dryer, directed at the glue.
Be Careful with the plastic people, I have a few that required minor surgery a couple of old marines that now wear a cast, don't ask me how I know <g>

😲 Mike, my layout is in the era of 1939 to 1959'... A great time period in the USA'... after the war, Things were mostly good, and most folks were sane, and respect and manners were relevant .....

Clifford...realistic scene...I'm considering same bike shop building for future section of my layout. The ground cover and the dirt path look like the real thing, and the "junked" cars in the background top-off the scene
