FOR TODAY:  Enbeesee the peacock has finally figured out why turkeys become nervous beginning the first day after Halloween.

The Magooville Express is right on time today...two hours late as usual.

FOR TODAY:  I got in the office this morning just before day break.  Made some coffee and upon taking my first sip I peered out my office window to see the first rays of light illuminating Patsburg.  It's going to be a good day I thought to myself. ... just another day on the railroad!

Farmer John, I've marveled at your coal mine before but that light truck is incredible.  Looks like a custom build.

Mike, Joe is right.  I don’t know when I’ll get scenery to any point at all, but I enjoy my layout and I enjoy seeing everyone else’s!

FOR TODAY:  Not even the middle of November yet and snow is falling in the Patsburg area.  The ski trains are arriving full with folks bound for the slopes of Mt. Randolph and the Randolphian Mountain Range where ski resorts  begin to thrive this time of year.   Here we see a Western Maryland ski special arriving at Patsburg commuter station.  The nose of a B&O F3, barely visible in the far left side of photo, heads a ski special from Pittsburgh.  With the many passenger trains now traversing the rails of the FSJR, freight trains have been routed over the high line.  .... just another day on the railroad!

trumptrain - the natural light coming through the window is terrific on that Patsburg scene --- makes you want to pour something cold and turn up the jazz

Mark - just hop one of those Western Maryland or B&O ski specials and come to Patsburg!  There are many great ski instructors in town   After a few lessons you will be on the slopes in no time!
