Wow! Thank you to everyone who posted photos. From the photos and descriptions this looks to be an amazing show/meet with something for everyone.
Attributes of the Big E that make it a top shelf train show:
- The diversity of trains and railroad items at the Big E is fantastic;
- The quantity of operating layouts, over 50 at the Big E is unequaled;
- The big guys, MTH, Lionel, Miller Engineering, Dallee Electronics, Grzyboski's, Broadway Limited, Digitrax, Charles Ro and many many more vendors pack 4 huge buildings;
- Sellers are friendly and likely to negotiate prices;
- Excellent program booklet;
- Lots of seminars and product demonstrations;
- Parking is only $5 and the entrance fee to the show is reasonable at $14;
- Food and restrooms in every building;
- Covered walkways between the buildings for inclement weather and protection from winds. Much less walking than at York;
- The location is easily accessible to I-91, convenient to airports and hotels;
- Affordable bus transportation to the show is prolific;
- Very well organized show.
