My PRR books on these Baldwin Sharknose diesels do not go into much detail on their differences other than the prime mover.  I'm interested in knowing what the external differences between the DR-4-4-1500 Sharknose and the RF-16 were.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Some of the answers Bruce gave you were a result of changing railroad regulations, not the differences between the two types of locos.
