Has anyone downloaded this app for the Android yet? When I started to install it and the screen came up that showed the app needing access to email, pictures, location plus other information that I failed to see relevant to running the app, I decided against it.

would not load on wife's phone, but said it did.

here's the thread with the developer/author bkbob.(Bob Kravacic) I would imagine that the other parts of the app to infiltrate your apps was pushed by Google or some other commercial interest. Good choice to not install it.
I agree with you in not letting infiltrate your stuff. Shouldn't be needed. perhaps you can contact bkbob and find where a "clean" version can be found. 2.04 is still available that no one complained about.
I guess photos would be good if you were able to add images to the engine roster, but the other ones, Google doesn't need to have access.
