Put my new (to me) D&H GP9 on the layout and gave it a spin. One smooth running engine.
I just got this Lionel WM Boxcar off of eBay. This nicely decorated car features a die-cast frame and trucks.

Bob, I like those colors on the D&H diesels, but that is a paint pattern I didn't know they used! Looks great!
Dave, Looks great! This is an MTH, but how about the paint scheme?

One like this sold before I could bid on it. So I went for the Lionel version. Both are nice looking cars!
Yours is great, Dave!!!
I scored this in the OGR For-Sale forum, something to pull my military train.

Wow, John!! Very nice indeed!
It looks like new, and everything works. I did have to fix the flickering firebox, it was coming apart, but that was just bending the prongs to hold the lens in place. Hardest part of the repair is taking the boiler shell off, but this one is easier than many. While I was in there I looked in side the smoke unit, it didn't look like it was ever used!
Sounds like a great deal! I put in fluid and turn on smoke to see it works then turn it off. The only other time I turn it on is to verify it works before I sell it. I just had to replace a dead smoke unit fan in an MTH engine before selling it last month.
Mark, I'm the Super-Chuffer man, if it ain't got smoke, it ain't a decent locomotive!
Yes indeed! I know you are! The smoke messes with my wife’s asthma, so my house is a No Smoking facility! LOL
Gunrunner, that’s a really nice looking Steamer. Congratulations. That should pull a really long Coal train.
Mike and Mark- Thanks. I have a pair of D&H passenger coaches due to arrive this week to pull behind this beauty. It's a Williams engine BTW.
GRJ- Beautiful loco. I have a Rivarossi Mallet in HO that is one of my favorites.

Last night I ordered the latest issue of OGR to see Norm C's layout. He is a master of layout building. I haven't been able to find OGR for sale anywhere so I might subscribe.
Haven’t bought anything yet, but on my way to the Stockyard Expresses’s open house. I’ve never left empty handed there!
A stage coach for the western town part of my layout. Did a bit of altering it to make it smaller and will eventually paint it. That is where I am at on my layout at present.
Watch up for a hold up, Jim!! Got someone to ride shotgun?
