A pleasent surprise dropped off by FEDEX today. My four car MTH reefer set from the TCA PAcific Northwest Division came today. It is a great looking set. And a bigger surprise is I have three packages coming from Gryzboski's tomorrow. Now I'll get to see what I ordered LOL....................pic..............Paul 2

Those Ford pups on the DT&I flat caught my attention when Paul, aka Apples 55, posted that car the other day.
I picked up some custom painted beer boxcars from Trainz the other day. I'll post some pictures once I get my iPhone back from Apple.
Years ago, I purchased a 3rd Rail CNW H1 Northern. Beautiful locomotive. From there, the hunt was on for a set of MTH CNW Heavyweights. I was able to grab the five-car base set. A year later, the 2-car add-on and RPO showed up on eBay, but I was outbid the last second on the 2-car add-on. Well, last week, another pair came along and I was successful.

Well, sometimes the trains aren't the most interesting things in a collection when you buy it. Picked up a collection Sunday. The trains were a 1112 Scout set, a 1443WS 1947 Steam set (3rd one of these I've picked up in the last 3 months), a 97 Coal Elevator, a 164 Log Loader, and a ZW. Every thing was in excellent condition, especially the operating accessories.
The interesting things were the non-operating accessories and there were a lot. I haven't pictured the home made log cabins and telephone poles, but here are the rest:

Lionelflyer : That is an amazing mix of awesomeness! Great items.
Opened up the one package yesterday. More PS-1 sound box cars, TOFC's with the pup trailers, two beer reefers and a Budwieser tank car. Got to open the other two boxes yet. I noticed the PS-1 box cars are made in Vietnam. Pics.................Paul 2

Paul, That is quite a large order! Everything looks great!
You know Paul, I would have thought you had enough TOFC's with all the ones you have shown over the years! LOL But I do have to say they sure are some nice trailers!

Wow, Paul, that is some haul. Are you planning on running all the stock car sets in one train??? If you do, it will really moooooove
Sorry... couldn’t resist - please don’t block me!!!
Hi, my name is Paul and I can’t stop buying trains... the fleet continues to grow!!!
First up, my first LionChief engine - I only recently learned (on this forum!!!) that the LionChief + 2.0 engines can be run from my Cab2 (I don’t like the idea of have multiple controllers hanging around). I couldn’t pass up a diecast steam engine for a street price around $225 - and since I was born and raised in Brooklyn, this one was a no brainer!!!
Next, two milk cars from the good folks at METCA. I really love the LIRR keystone logo.
They say that admitting you have a problem is the first step to a cure... I don’t think so!!!

Hi Paul. If you need an enabl......umm....sponsor.....let me know.
Very nice haul BTW. I may need to get on of those BEDT tanks.
@Apples55 very cool pick-up and I also must say very jealous! I really would like to get my hands on one of these 0-6-0T Lc+2.0! While I don’t mind multiple remotes(at least the DCS TIU remote and Lionel Cab1), whenever I’ve considered Lionchief I’ve always thought that it’d be too much- even with the orange remote, of course depending on how many locos I’m running. That said, the price of these locos, the niche they’d fill for me, and the Multiple methods of control make them something I’d really like to get. Congrats on the purchase!
Also, love those METCA milk cars! The paint on Both looks very crisp and the cars just look fantastic in general. I too love that Keystone logo on the LIRR! Being a Pennsy guy is a big fan of both of the milk cars. What great pick-ups all around!
Hi Paul, welcome to the "program", LOL.

You NEED one of those BEDT tank engines, Bob! It would look great on your layout!!

Bob;
You are too kind, but I have enough enablers in my life as it is, and as for a sponsor, I swear I’ve seen you lurking at some meetings...

Thanks Richard... with all forumites needing help, I was afraid that the meetings would exceed pandemic gathering limits
And finally... speaking of enablers, while I agree with the expressed sentiment, I must be progressing in the “program” in that I did not say it...

Paul, Don’t worry. You can run the meetings via Zoom. Oh maybe not a good idea. Someone will start showing the new Lionel catalog to the other members.
Paul ( apples55 ), I have the same problem as you do. I have had numerous interventions over the years ( LOL ). But each time a catalog comes out and I leaf through it I find things I have to have. And our Tuesday night groups motto is "gotta have it" and I have worn that motto proudly. In fact a while back I found some Weaver freight cars I had bought in the 80's that still had the shrink wrap on them. Also you are right I bought those vision line stock car sets to do a unit train of stock cars with some Weaver stock cars mixed in with them.
Mike g, you would think that after all this time I would have enough TOFC's. Funny I started out with the Weaver flats after they had gone out of business. The Lionel ones were TCA cars that were suppose to be Weaver flats but they had production problems so they replaced them with their TOFC's. The Lionel flats with the pup trailers caught my eye in the catalog.
