The one time I had the time to ride the narrow gauge out of Chama, it was not
running due to fire threat (a few years ago). I have been chased around locations such as Yellowstone and western S. D. by fires. Now the news addresses Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs fires (disasterous!) and showed three fires in SW Colorado, but no mention of specifics...just general area..did not show cities such as Durango. Where and what impact, if any, are these fires having on the historical railroads and sites in that area (of course the
whole state is one big historical railroad site where no fires are desired)?
