I have one of the Bowser conversions. The problem with them
is that they(Bowser), rips out the interior and replace it with
their own floor plate. This distroys the value of the Corgi.
The PHM removes the floor plate but leaves the interior.
GHB, you remove the trucks and replace them with the
motorize ones, touching nothing else.
The top PCC is an origional un-modified one for reference.
Also, the PHM and GHB are using DC on Atlas 2 rail flex-track, not AC.

Hope this adds some clarity.

I have several PHM conversions and they work well on my 3-rail track.  However, since the owner passed away I would think new build units would not be available.

Anyone want to sell a PHM conversion that they have?

I have one GHB conversion for 3-rail track and it also works well in the Corgi PCC body. Given that it is now the only conversion available that retains the scale look of the Corgi PCC, it makes sense to use it.

I used the GBH 2 rail version and ran it on the Czech version of superstreet, 2 rail, tight curves. Runs well but...  Motors were noisier than I would have expected. Had to replace and redesign the power leads to the motor. Used superflex wire and looped it around the motor to reduce the amount of flexing. I'll put the blame on the tight curves.

I would highly recommend Q-Car Company.  Quinten there is an expert at small motor power trucks, I use them on all of my trolley and light rail cars.  He specifically has a conversion kit for the Corgis and best of all, since the motors are truck mounted, your interior will stay intact.  He has a bit of a lead time but, he does great work.  You will need to tell him if you want it set up for overhead power (pole pick up), 2-rail or 3-rail.
