DCS /Wifi help

Try making your phone set to the MTH setting for WIFI. If it connects to your house's router and the internet, stuff will freeze up.

Usually when the app freezes, you've asked it to do something it can't.

sometime deleting the app and reinstalling it also works.

What version of the DCS App?

Is the WIU in Home or MTH mod?

Which iPhone and what vsersion of iOS?

Exactly what are you operating when this occurs?

Do you have a second smartphone or tablet to use?

Barry the tiu is the L most recent upgrade the wifi is 3.1.0 its in the home mode the app is the premium version .My i pad does same thing.Plus it also changes to steam engine and there is no steam engine on track and i have I phone 6 version 11.3.1 and only running 8 engines . or 2 trains  4 engines in each consist in the all mode thanks for your help

and this:

"when i use my phone to run trains the app freezes up when i go from train control screen to track screen or settings screen"

What happens if you operate in MTH mode?

Quick question.....I see engines for sale listed as protosound......not proto2 or 3....does a protosound engine run on dcs or is it conventional w proto...sounds only? Thx

Proto-sounds or proto sounds 1 (and loco-sounds) were just conventional, not command control.
