hello. i know this has probably been address somewhere in this forum but after searching for an hour i decided to post and ask the question. i have a lionel engine that the lights started blinking without any input to the engine from my legacy controller. when i put my hand by the engine the blinking stops and the engine runs fine. i have added some more antenna to the engine but it doesn't help only when i get near or touch the engine. thank you

If it's one engine, it is likely an issue with the TMCC receiver, it's it's more than one it's more likely track signal.
The exact lionel product number is always useful here.
hello john. thanks for the reply. i changed the r2lc board with a new one and as far as i know the track signal is ok because other engines run fine. the model number of this locomotive is lionel 6-18598. thanks again
