thanks for the help. I ended up doing a last minute tourist thing. We went into NYC and rode the tourist buses around in the heat. Now I'm spent.
At least we went to Strasburg and Scranton to get some train time. I also got some pics off the ferry of containers in the NYC harbor.
I was going to go to Horseshoe curve again but it may rain. It's a Sunday so not sure any train stores would be open? Would have loved to go south to NicholasSmith or others.... next time. Didn't make Cherry Valleyclub again! Urgg, thanks again for the offers, Joe

I understand there is a frontal system in Ohio that developed last night with the rest of the weather all the way to MO and Texas moving east today. (Yay Rain!)

I seem to be having a History with the curve. When I go it rains! I went again anyways.
I was with my lady so I had to step it back a bit. We did more tourist stuff than I probably would have chosen. Overall, it was very cool. We even saw the Flight 93 Memorial site. It was moving. It makes my girl sad but I still get angry!
Charlie, Thanks again for the help. Ended up staying right next door to a NJ transit park and ride that the hotel told me to try. We were so tired that we just took the bus

I did get in as many train stops as I could get away with. Never got to Nicholas Smith. Was lost right near Trainworld and didn't know it untill the following morning. Couldn't figure out where to see any two rail stores. Drew offered to show us the club but we passed out from the heat! A trip to Jason's was delayed because we got stuck in construction but made it right before he closed. I want to thank him also. Many great deals. Good thing we were late! Seemed like everything was on sale. Missed Jimmy who was there the weekend before. Heared Jason mention that some NKP engine was coming through soon. I wonder who'll be at the controls??
