Not sure if this is the right dep't, but my J1e Hudson (PS2.0) firebox is no longer lit; is that a regular bulb and is it a "simple" job or does it need a service station visit?Thanks.

Should be a 6V bulb and not too hard to do yourself. G

Have you tried a Feature Reset to turn the firebox glow back on?
If you're running under DCS:
Menu/Advanced/Reset Engine/Feature Reset
If running conventionally:
1 Whistle, 5 Bells (from Neutral only) You should get 2 toots if the reset is successful. Use 1/2 second button presses with 1/2 second pauses in between.
I have found that sometimes other light controls when one presses another.
I assumed he knew how to work it since he said it "was no longer lit", but it is normally controlled with interior light when present. G
GGG, I don't know why, but for unexplained reasons I sometimes get interactions among the various light controls on the remote: headlight, marker lights, interior lights, etc. Hasn't bothered me enough to induce me to try to find a cause or fix.

That's because MTH often puts more than one lighting feature on the same circuit.
There is actually some interdependency, since they don't always go on & off together.
