By the way, JP_GPS, I couldn't help but notice that this Imperial model as quite a different array of sounds than the Premier GS4 that they put out.

I wonder why that is. Like I said earlier, the Preimier GS4 sounds are similar to the Imperial Big Boy that I have with PS3, but the sounds on this Imperial engine sound completely different and new. Interesting.

The volume problem: chuff, whistle, etc all engine sounds are fine, it's the 'announcements' that seem pretty low. I guess if you would make that louder, the engine sounds would be very loud. I can live with it though and I am glad that the announcements are specific to this engine. I'm still working on trying to get all I can from my Legacy control. I may almost be tempted to get a cheap version of DCS for this engine, as it will run on its own track pulling Lionel SP Madison cars.

Up until today, I only had a DCS Commander unit, but I just ordered a DCS Command remote and TIU from Nassau Hobby. (Great CS at that shop!)

I realized that I definitely wanted advanced control of my engines and I also wanted to be able to control multiple different engines on my layout at once, so the choice made sense. I would've been in a world of hurt with that commander unit!

I strongly recommend investing in one!
