Anyone else? We are excited about our trip. Alan and I will be pulling up our tent stakes and heading east Tuesday morning. Looking forward to meeting all of the forum members that will be attending the Lionel event.

Please post here if you think that you will be able to attend our little gathering this coming Friday night.

Hope that everyone has a great week coming up.

If anyone else wants to come and eat with us, you all are more than welcome to come Friday evening.

OK....spent the evening in the theater room with Mickey Selligman and Roger Wasson watching train videos and having great conversation.  Earlier when Roger arrived, around 3:30 this afternoon, a local friend, Joe Norcross came over and we ran trains.  After that, we all went over to Joe's place and enjoyed his big converted barn full of trains and other great collectibles including all kinds of automotive stuff, arcade games, you name it!!  Neat thing is all of us are members of the Mid America 3-railers so we had sort of a mini- meet!!

It is 11P.M. and everyone has retired for the evening...Roger is snoring up in the guest loft and I am gonna get some sleep right after I post this.  We will be leaving from here, Mountain Home, at around 6A.M. tomorrow morning.  Can't wait to meet all of you that will be attending the dinner Friday evening!

See you then...

Alan

Just an update on our travels. We are resting for the rest of the night here in Greenfield, IN. We took a detour and stopped at my favorite steak house in Bloomington, IN. I think it is the BEST steak in the good ole' USA. But I am sure that you all feel the same way about your favorite restaurant also.

We should be in the Canfield area by mid afternoon, Wednesday.

We are still talking to each other, so all is well. When you drive 450 miles and both of you love O gauge, there is a LOT to talk about.

See you all Friday.

Hi Roger, Have a safe trip.  While you were eating steak in Bloomington, we had dinner tonight at Marley's Dinner House in Ozark.  It's good to have "Riverside"

meals again.  See you soon. R. Smith

Well....it is 6:45A.M......we are ready to go and about to load the car for our final hop, skip, jump to the OGR World Headquarters!!  We are scheduled to first stop by to visit Mike at the Lionel Service Center and then on to OGR.

Neat thing about all of this is that Roger doesn't snore as much as my wife!!LOL!!!...hope she isn't reading this!

See you guys soon...

Alan
