I'm trying to hone my collection and keep it in line with what I intend to model in the future so I'm selling the following items.
I'm the second owner (AFAIK) and I've had these for about 20 years. I never ran them much. There is probably 10 hours of run time on them, tops. I'm selling the Locomotives as a set and the streamliners as a set.
The Locomotives: $275+ shipping
There is one powered "A" unit with two motors, a dummy sound "B" unit, and a dummy (lighted) "A" unit. All of the functions work as best I can tell. They could use a good oiling/lube I'm sure, but run decently well. The "B" unit has "True Sounds" which include a digital horn, bell, prime mover, and engineer/dispatcher sounds. The horn is activated via a standard whistle button, the bell is activated by the whistle button when moving and less than 9.5V is applied. The prime movers have a low and high RPM range and the engineer/dispatcher sounds happen about 7 seconds after startup if kept below 9.5V. Not as nice as the modern stuff, but still pretty neat. They are in pretty overall good condition. The dummy "A" unit has one small broken detail on one of the truck side frames. It's missing a brake, which I've included pictures of.
The Passenger Cars: $125 + shipping
These are pretty standard ribbed streamliners. They are listed as 72" long and there is a baggage car, coach, diner, dome, and observation. They include the original outer shipping box as well.
Take them both for $350 + shipping
I'll use your choice of shipper as long as it's either USPS, UPS, or FedEx and they will come in an outer box with ~2" of peanuts/foam/paper/bubble wrap.
