This is a Lionel long hood GN GP7 #6-28563. The "harness" with a 6 outlet plug has 2232-X005 on it and the wires are brown, green, red, yellow blue and white. The number boards light but not the headlight or green marker lights. I have double checked the connections and settings. Headlight led does not appear burnt out. Might it be more complicated than replacing the harness?

Thank you Marty F. for your information and encouragement. I need to check with you one more time so that I know that about which you speak. The previous pictures are mine of the aforementioned GP7  with front headlight and green markers non functional. If you would be so patient, please identify the PCB that you referenced several posts ago. Thanks in advance.

Well, I got the above parts and with some difficulty installed the new distribution board (I had to solder six wires to pins - no plug into old board ). Front end now restored but fired up the engine and the rear head lights have failed. Guess I'll have to redo the rear end too. Can't understand why these boards are failing. I run an 18 watt brick through my MTH DCS. Could that be too much wattage? Thanks to Gunrunner for all your previous advice.
