So I was installing a smoke generator in a Lionel RS-3 starter engine for my little guy. It is in and works great by the way, and I added about 6 oz of weight while I was in there. Unfortunately I accidentally touched one of the plastic handrails with the soldering iron and melted a spot into it! Does anyone have a junk RS-3 that they would be willing to sell or send me the right side handrails off of? They just clip in and out under the edge of the frame. Lionel was not able to help me for what it's worth. Thanks in advance!

If you emailed Lionel Customer Service you might get lucky. What is the Lionel item number?
Marty, I'll check on the model number. So far no luck with Lionel...
What's the road name on the RS-3, and or what color is the handrail?

The road name is Southern Pacific, handrail is black. Thanks!
Jason,
Please e-mail me a quick photo of which handrail is damaged, and your address. Address is in my profile.

I'll get that to this afternoon, and send it to you, thanks so much!
