Looks like I have a more serious problem than just a lack of silhouettes.

I have a brand new, less than 10 hours over the course of 5 weeks, 2123140 Hogwarts set. Several days ago I noticed that I could not go forward slowly to start because the train would stop and not go further. It did ok if I gave it full throttle to start, after which, in a couple times around the loop, I could adjust the throttle. Suddenly last night, it refused to move at all in forward, but it will go in reverse. There is a slight hesitation and it does require almost full throttle to go in reverse.

Any ideas for a fix before I look in to a warranty return???

Might want to check and just make sure there's no physical binding.

I wondered about binding but visually I can’t see anything. If it were binding wouldn’t it also interfere with reverse which seems to work ?

I did spend time cleaning out golden retriever fur. The downside of a floor layout. It still won’t go forward
