No, there will not be a grandstand meeting at York. We have not hosted that event since before the Covid pandemic. I don't rule anything out, but due to the fact that our staff is now significantly smaller in number than it was in years past, it is not likely that those meetings will be held again in the future. A good many OGR Forum members and magazine subscribers do still gather at the local Quaker Steak & Lube (1411 Kenneth Rd.) on Thursday evening, usually starting at around 5 pm, and that long-popular informal get-together will still be held.

I will be at York from Wednesday afternoon through around noon on Saturday, and will be the sole OGR rep. at the event this time. OGR will not have a booth in the Orange Hall, but I look forward to seeing any and all of our supporters--advertisers, magazine subscribers, and forum members--as I visit the various halls. If anyone cares to arrange to meet with me at a specific day/time/location , please feel free to contact me via email prior to Monday, Oct. 16, and we can make arrangements. My email is in my Forum profile, as well is in the magazine.

There may not be an OGR Grandstand Meeting but there are plenty of OGR Forum Sponsors who are dealers in the TCA York Orange Hall. Look for top banners Ross Custom Switches and Atlas O. Then you have Henning's Trains, Mr. Muffins's Trains and Todd Architectural Models & Layouts. We all make a contribution to help absorb some of the cost of operating the OGR Forum and we look forward to chatting with you during the show!
