Well, I figured out what was causing the annoying "bicycle card" noise in my Lionel Vision Line 700E Hudson. However, there's another bizarre fluke I have to figure out now.

I run with the original TMCC. When I start the engine moving either forwards or backwards, it only gives 2 chuffs per revolution of the drive wheels, until it passes speed step #10, where it slows down and goes back to the correct 4 chuffs per revolution. But anytime it gets slower than that speed step again it goes back to the undesired 2 chuffs per revolution...really ruins the experience for me personally...

Is it something wrong with the chuff sensor over the flywheel? Is it an electronic issue?

Anyone have a clue what this issue could be?
