The question has been raised on another forum whether Korber is still conducting business. Also was reported he won't be exhibiting at this upcoming York. Does anyone know whether this is factual or an unfounded rumor?

I once purchased a prebuilt Korber structure and it had phenominal craftsmanship. It's indeed a loss if the report is true and Korber will no longer be servicing the o gauge community.

I would guess that Korber is still in business but the question of exhibiting at York comes down to cost vs sales.    Vendors/sellers are not there for their health but to turn a profit. The same audience attends fall York each year. Attendees have seen Korber, are familiar with it, and understands that the company sells nice products, which they do

If Korber is not exhibiting at York, they may have achieved its goal and do not want to spend thousands of dollars to travel there to present to the exact same audience.  Reality is that sellers and even buyers consider the bottom line.

Thank you for your informative suggestions, Greg, but I can't do that without a phone number. I tried the Korber website for contact info but when I clicked at the top of the page on both CONTACT US and REGISTER (to establish an account and a log in) my Firefox browser blocked my efforts with this message:

Your connection is not secure

The owner of shop.korbermodels.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

Knowing the ramifications of identity theft and fraud, I honestly don't relish taking a chance and trying to over-ride Firefox to get Korber's contact info.

But if you'd be so helpful, Greg, as to post their telephone number I'll certainly call them to verify what I've heard.

My sincerest thank you , Greg, for your assistance.

Since Korber Models is a "Forum Sponsor", I simply clicked on their logo, above. I then clicked on their "Contact Us", which promptly showed all their information, including their PHONE NUMBER!!!!!   I did't have to "register" anything to read their address and PHONE NUMBER!

I encountered no trouble clicking on their "contact us" link of the website either.  Saw the same information that Ben was nice enough to post.

As to their presence (or rumored lack thereof) at York in October, perhaps forum member Alex M can shed some light if you don't succeed in speaking to anyone at Korber directly. He and his wife Dina have held down the fort at Korber's booth during recent York shows.
