I recently got an oldie of my collection running, last Friday I received the last part I needed (a new motor since the old ones magnetic ring was screwed up) and I also installed a tested and functional used motor driver. Friday the thing ran like a dream. Come today and after putting it together it wouldn’t run at all, I took it apart and couldn’t find any damage to the motor, board, or wiring but now it runs horribly. Did something act up on the board or on the motor ring again. I believe Lionels email said the motor is warrantied so thats an avenue I can go if I have to but I’d like to see if there’s anything I can do here. I should also mention I didn’t have any binding in the side rod setup before (Friday).
