Lionel SD-70ACe Ditch Lights Not Flashing w/Horn | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My Legacy Missouri Pacific UP Heritage SD-70ACe (6-28261) ditch lights are not flashing when horn is activated. They turn on in forward and off in neutral and reverse. Everything else is working properly on this locomotive. The schematic shows (snip below and full diagram attached) that they are wired to the DCDS and that must be where they get power/signal. Since the DCDS works to move the locomotive it must be receiving good serial data from the motherboard and R4LC. I have reset/reprogrammed it several times with no change.

I researched and found and older thread with a credible source identifying that the ditch lights can be set to full on, off or flashing modes. However, I do not have any icons on my Cab-2 that would allow me to do this using the MP's module. Is there a way to "set" this function back to flashing?
