Glad to see company went out and aquired new T- shirts, those blue 'ones
were getting a little thread worn .
I've never been able to go to one of these events.
Curious-are the deals that good (realize this is a subjective question)?
And, are there high end Legacy steamers at great deals? Or are most of the items "starter" stuff?
Hope some day to find out myself!
The deals were real. There were some nice scale passenger cars for $70.00. I recall seeing the polar railroad steam engine with Legacy for 400 something. Several upper end sets regularly $1000 for $400.00. Cabooses with smoke $40.00. Lot's of $10.00 rolling stock. Cheap train sets in shop worn boxes. Superstreet track $1.00 per package. Superstreet cars $1.00 each. Polar Express Caribou packs $5.00 each. K-line Boxcabs $45.00, Kline Porters $54.00. I have blown over $1400.00 with one day left.

Almost forgot $30.00 0-8-0 (starter set engines). NYC, Pennsy, Polar Express. Polar Express Berkshire $40.00

Thanks Scott!
I HAVE to get to one of these! I'd love to look to see if they had 18" scale UP passenger cars.
Those are fantastic deals! On everything you listed!
WOW! What a fun two hours I spent last night. It was evident that the individuals who were tasked in arranging things had done a splendid job -- if only they could have had wider aisles and more shopping carts. The assortment of items was nice, the prices made for some real deals(Scott listed a thorough price list), and the Lionel "shirts" were most helpful in assisting customers.
The drive through Charlotte rush hour traffic and the long, late drive home to Virginia were worth it for me. I especially enjoyed using my gift mug with breakfast this morning. Hope there will be a repeat next November. Thanks Lionel and LCCA!
Hey Scott it was really nice to meet you in person. Hopefully I can be at York in the spring!
I did pickup a Conrail SD70 that I'm going to upgrade to Full TMCC and Railsound. I got my Dad his Christmas present and my Dad and I got my son a Lionel chief Thomas set. Those where a great deal for $75!! Next year I plan on bring at the LCCA show when the door open wasn't expecting that large of a crowd on Friday night. Saturday I came back to pick up 2 60ft CN and GTW modern boxcar to go with my SD70. I plan to weather them both with chalk so wish me luck!!
A couple of pictures from yesterday
Oh yes I almost forgot Friday they had a bunch of these that went pretty quick for $75.00:
Finally I got to meet S.R. Sean

Sounds like everyone who attended had a great time! We had a good time at Allentown too, but really missed the Lionel Open House. One weekend, three different train events. Darn!

The Lionel Collectors Club of America had a great Special Event at Lionel’s 3Rd Annual Warehouse sale. Lionel President Howard Hitchcock and his entire team at Lionel worked countless hours to make this event so successful. As you can see from the attached photos, Lionel team members did a great job interacting with all of the guests. Not only were there great deals on merchandise, the numerous interactive operating layouts were hands on and accessible by all. Lionel Mascot Lenny the Lion greeted kids of all ages throughout this three day open house event. As you can tell by all of the carts full of Lionel Train items, there were great deals had by all. Thank you Lionel! Our LCCA members and guests had a great time!
LCCA members Ed Magruder, Scott Smith, Rich Dissosway and Anderson Hitchcock were a huge help at the LCCA table. Thank you to all of the LCCA members and family members who attended and helped out. It was another Great Day for the LCCA! THANK YOU and we hope you had FUN!!!
