List of Jobs in a 1950 Freight Yard | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am going to build a prototypical freight yard which primarily was in the height of the steam engines but also had facilities for servicing diesels too.

What I can't find on the Internet is a list of all the jobs that were performed and all the facilities that serviced both steam and diesel engines in the yard. Also I'm looking for every different type of building that was in the yard. I know from reading, I have a lot of this list, but I'm sure I don't have all the information I need to make the yard just as one was back in the 40's and 50's.
