LCCA member John Niehaus  is looking  for LCCA members in the Iowa area who have a Lionel/LCCA FasTrack Modular Railroad Module section and would like to participate in a modular setup at the Iowa Autism Speaks walk on Saturday, June 13, in Des Moines, Iowa. I would like to show how toy trains can be part of an autistic child's life. Please contact John for more information if you are interested. Thank you from John, a father  with an autistic son.

Let's pitch  in and help.  Please call me at 248 709-4137 with your ideas

Original Post

I hope Mr. Niehaus gets the helps he needs for this display. I have seen firsthand at our modular train club how much an autistic child can enjoy watching toy trains. It also seems to make the parents happy seeing them watch.

Unfortunately, our club uses different modules than the LCCA does, so I couldn't participate even if I could get to Iowa.
