Looking at this product but, my layout uses FasTrack. This product requires Traditional O Gauge track. Bummer. Anyone with experience mating this product with FasTrack? Ideally, I want to use the TT with the FasTrack. Anyone with a solution such as raising the TT? My layout runs on constant 18 voltage so movement of the engine off the TT should not be an issue?

John,

I'm not sure it's that easy.  If I'm not mistaken, the cross section of the rails in the middle of a section of Fastrack isn't round, and it's larger than a standard 'O' Gauge pin.  It would be a very loose fit to a tubular track section's "pins" end without some tooling to squash the cut rails around them.

The transition track has the rails on the tubular track end shaped to match and squeeze the 'O' Gauge pins that are inserted into it preformed and crimped at the factory.

You can't have pins in the mating tracks.

@dscrockett, Fastrack is 5/8", you might have to shim up the table to match.

You won't have to shim it.   All of my classic and modern Lionel accessories that connect to track have zero alignment issues with Fastrack.

I have the Bascule bridge, Coal Ramp, and Transfer table all connected to Fastrack.

Remember, the track carries no power to the Table.  The little wire ends of the Transfer table slide right into the track's outer rails.  That's how the TT would be "grounded."   In my TMCC/Legacy, I run a ground wire to the Transfer table, table itself.

John: By way of background, I run Lionchief locos run by a universal remote. Power is supplied to the track, switches and accessories by attaching the ground and power wires to the accessory posts on my ZW fixed at 18 volts. I assume the TT would be wired as any accessory would under this setup? That is to the accessory posts.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a manual that goes with the newest TT. If anyone out in o-gauge land could share that would be great.
