Dad (Bob), thanks for posting of the station in place. This station footprint is perfect. Have you started another extension of the layout. You have to be out of real estate by now or are you building a new layout at corporate head quarters LOL..........Paul

Thanks for the pictures Dad! I was like Paul wondering where your putting all this great stuff? One suggestion, Put a crate or bucket, heck maybe even a pallet of Coors on the side of the station to hide the side plug in option! LOL

I think I see a UPS shipping terminal coming soon.😀

That's a power port for electric cars so they can get to Menards to buy more trains !! or.. you can plug in a plug and play truck or car into it too .

Are the figures permanently attached to the platform?

Nice pictures as always! What UPS truck? LOL I'm waiting for the day when along with Jack they put a figure of Dad on each structure somewhere!

Play Trains, Gasp!!!  Menards put me as a little kid looking in the Hobby Shop window.  Now they put me on the platform!  I want my cut of the deal!  LOL

Mark, at least you are the little kid! I'm in the dumpster! LOL

My "problem" with finishing a train layout -- as I recently did after a 1-1/2 years layout-building adventure -- is that I can't add a new building (like this spiffy Menards station) unless I remove something from the layout to create space for it or any other new item. This agony can be described as ADALCAP Syndrome (Advanced Distress after Layout Completion As Planned).

Further, my train room is filled wall to wall, so the option for future layout expansion may be adding-on a wing to our house.

In the meantime, I commend Menards for carrying on with new products despite my non-participation in purchasing.

Mike Just do what Bob does. Just keep adding on! 

Dad, that is a cool idea to be able to plug cars into it so you don't have to buy extra transformers! But I think once they really think it over they might stop putting them in so you have to get more!

Thanks Bob, that's what I thought.  I was going to use the station as an antique shop and use the figures on my other station.  Your station fits right in Bob.  Anyway I'll use it on my RDC commuter line.  It could use a small station.  Nice job Menards.

Ahh the tunneling crew from the Menards Power Plant does fast work 

Ive been thinking about the ports. Easy enough to add "whatever" to cover them; but how about say, a lit vending machine with a plug solidly integrated as a filler accessory? Wont fall over, is along the lines of plug &play, somewhat universal with other buildings, low count part list( led direct on male plug). Other items might be thought of too. It could even be unlighted with a faux plug that could be trimmed off if not used there. That would be great in a blister pack group. Say one lit and three faux plug items so they can really empty our fat wallets quickly ? ( kinda funny eh? "Overpriced Menard's"  )

You know that UPS truck doesn't look like any I have seen, but it actually should be in front of a Grandpa's house, as in making a delivery from Menards with more train items for Grand-pa to expand his layout for the grand kids ( cough cough ).

You know after thinking about the UPS truck again, It probably does take one that size to deliver to Cabinet Bob's place with all he gets.  

I heard through the grapevine that CABINET BOB (dad) surpassed the one UPS truck to deliver. When a delivery takes place now it is a triple trailer unit.............Paul

Not a problem - just use the AAULTTEL solution - (Add An Upper Level To The Existing Layout)  !

Hey aul, I know if Dad tells you to just wait and see whats coming you know its going to be something special! I bet him and Mark set up nights at the Menards show dreaming up things! I cant wait to see what it is now!~
