It is only 4.5 volts, I don't want you to blow the leds.  It a great pop, but after than it's dead

No, I will not be connecting the lights provided with the building. I plan to add 12v or 14v grain of wheat lights.

 

I do not understand why they would have installed 4.5v LED's in the building. Although my building is very close to 120 outlet for plugging in the power supply, I think the connection would be a real pain to plug and un plug each time the layout was powered up.

It is a pain, I used a power supply bar under the table for items like this, flip the switch .  I do have a main power switch on the wall that shuts off all the outlets that I have the power supplies connected.
