Got a surprise in the mail today. My METCA Lifesavers Flat with PUP Trailers (Harlem River & Port Chester Railroad) arrived. They are MTH Premier models. Love the spare tire and the mudflaps on the back.
Super Detailed, really nice. Thanks to the guys at METCA for making this one.
If only they had some real lifesavers in them too! LOL

As a METCA member, I have been soooooooo tempted to purchase one or two of these. I have traveled by the former Life Savers HQ many times on Metro North on my trip to/from NYC while I was working there. You may have pushed me into doing exactly that with your pictures. Stu Rankin will be proud of you. LOL!

Lifesavers were made in Portchester, NY. I took a tour of the factory around 1935-1940 when I lived in New Rochelle.

Yeah, they have a couple different Flat car colors to choose from too.
