Today I Modified my 204 single magnatraction. motor I used a 8020 rubber axle and  grooved wheel the other side I shaved off the gear and pressed it on to have two rubber traction tires

After much  reading here on the forum about wiring I tried 3 different attempts heres what I tried.

1 st I only used one field from the double wound field  it ran fine but had low end weak running

2nd  I used  both field wires    their are two colors  so both red when to ground and both green went to the top center  .. after this it ran fine but again very poor response on low speed

3rd and best.... I  made ONE long  connection using one green to ground the other end I soldered the red wired to  the end of the green wire .. then I put the green  wire  back on the center terminal on the brush cap. WOW it respond20210123_132816[1]20210123_132833[1]20210123_133039[1]fantastic at low speed and is super strong at high throttle

not sure if the video is going to work but Im pulled extra post cars than I usually run with the new modification and it ran like a GP motor! with magnatraction I tried with my 216 2 axle magnatraction it just spins ... with the same amount of cars on the track

The last part I did was to blue the MPC wheels   ...daniel
