When I first posted this revision 2 back in early Dec, when I started my Christmas garden, it did not appear to be very good, but I moved on since Dec 25 was approaching.

After being able to run trains on it for awhile, I am surprised at the opportunities it provides, either with 3 or 4 trains on it, or only 2 and doing a lot of switching and moving, or just one long one and making non-stop and reversing runs.

For someone who is looking for an idea, I happened just by luck, to plop down a track plan that has more going for it than I thought. The only drawback is no escape route on the left side for a train heading away from the camera. The lift out did not allow for a switch there....at least not quickly installed anyhow.

Just in case anyone is looking for ideas, I thought I would offer this. (you can visit here to see the final garden.....  https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/d...76#12129987975026276   halfway down the page

Not down yet!! I leave it up a few weeks to a month after Christmas-- if I left it up longer, I would have to buy Barry's book! ;-) But then I need my shop back.

Later today (it is 60 here right now!) I am going out to run trains and enjoy it while I can !!

Hey guys, thanks for looking. I hope someone can use a version of the plan for a permanent layout.

Take care, Greg
