Hello everyone!   I've been reading this forum for awhile now and would like to say thanks to all the folks out there willing to share their knowledge!   We moved from a very small house into a bigger one and now I have room for a layout!  I'm starting with a 4X8 and can expand when the time comes.  What excites me about this hobby is that there is SO much to learn!  I've always loved trains, but just about every aspect of a train layout is a learning experience for me from track and switches to scenery and buildings.   There are so many choices, I figure I'll start simple and go from there.  Not the best pics, but here they are.   Again, thanks everyone!

Welcome, looks like you are off to a good start and doing pretty well so far. I am fairly new as well, been back in the hobby for only 3 years or so. We also moved last year and I've just recently gotten back to layout building in the last couple of months. This is my first permanent layout.

The OGR forum is a great place to learn and get answers to any of your questions. There are many very knowledgeable and helpful folks around here.
