I have a USRA 0-8-0 legacy steam switcher that will not respond to turning smoke on/off. Remote and switch does nothing when trying to turn off. Reset did nothing. The engine was unused for at least 2 years.

I assume a triac needs to be replaced, but have not taken it apart to see the location.
Replace board?
Any suggestions?

Gunrunnerjohn will have to validate this, but I think smoke control comes off a triac on the R2LC board.
Thanks D&H. But I can find where the triac is located. I haven't taken it apart yet but looked at parts break down.
Can someone point out where the smoke triac is? The engine has a RCDR and smoke logic board.
