I recently upgraded a 1994 challenger ps1, only to realize I have no headlight. Tried switching headlight and taillight and the bulb worked. There are no pinches or breaks. What voltage should I measure at the PS3 board connector? Going to do a continuity check on wiring tomorrow.
Could I have a defective board? If so I may just be content to live with it.

you probable changed the wires for the front coupler use which unwires the head light check your book and change the 2 wires back and the headlight wil work by using the front couples feature you loose the headlight just change back! see page 15 of the upgrade book wonder how I know about this !

Nib had been sitting around house for a few months. Checked wires. They were O.K.

Did you try turning on the headlight using the remote keypad's #7 button?
Did you load flash code or just a Sound File? G
Tried upgrade file and a production sound file for 3V.
P.S. Also now the tail light has quit also.
Barry, at one time the tail lamp would come on and off with the direction button. Yes I tried the Headlamp button.

Alan, I do not think so. The Challenger does not look for a front coupler. He would have no reason to change wires.
Mike, did you do the upgrade? Do you have an MTH tech close by that can throw the board in his PS-3 test fixture.
George (GGG) my guess would also be the flash code.
Now that both lights out maybe the top board not full seated. Press the boards together over the 40 pin and 8 pin header ensuring they full seat, and the plastic bracket clips engage top board. G

It's a moot point now. I dropped a test probe and it shorted out the speaker to Gnd.
Unit is dead.
Winger, I suggest you ask GGG if that's repairable (by him).
GGG is this worth repairing?

Usually no after that. That top board may still be good though. If I had it I would have reseated boards and bench tested. If no lights still, I would have swapped a top board. If still no good reloaded Flash and SF. If still no good the board driver is bad. Sometimes that is repairable if it is the limit resistor. Otherwise the microchip is too hard to remove and you save it for an engine that doesn't need that output. Unfortunately most need one, but you could rewire connector to have cab light drive HL for Steam. Since not directional. I know that does not help you now.
