I guess I made it by 30 minutes (eastern time anyway). Love this thread and I look forward to Thursday. A friend of mine took these last May during the 611 run so I can't take credit but really, can we get enough of the J?
PS- I know there is no thoroughbred visible!

I just received MTH Premier NS AC400CW, Cab 4002 today. Great engine with one of the better sound sets from MTH. The sound set has Cab Number specific dialog. I picked up the MTH RailKing Caboose too with same paint scheme that machines this engine.

Is 4002 the one that wrecked ??
No, that was cab #4001. It was one of the blue ones.

While I enjoy the theme of this thread - what is the point of posting dozens of copyrighted photos that you didn't take and are reposting without permission simply to perpetuate this thread??

I'm glad you enjoy the theme of this thread, others do too. Most photos that were posted I could have never geographically taken and they are great pictures. The point is, I enjoy these photos and wanted to share them with others on the forum who like NS, not to simply perpetuate this thread. Happy New Year...........

Well happy Thursday everyone - here's my contribution for this week:
Work brought me to Binghamton New York where we are relocating a facility due to the Interstate 81 widening.
Here is a through freight coming up the former Delaware & Hudson track to Albany that NS acquired from the Canadian Pacific a few years back.
Across the tracks is the Susquehanna Railway's transfer yard. Those Yellow Jackets look sharp in contrast to the frozen ground!
I was also fortunate this week on Monday when my Golden Gate depot scale 21" Dome car arrived. Thanks again to @VGN64 for heading this up and getting Scott Mann to make a small run. I believe less than 10 were made and it is the finest and most accurate car model of the NS OCS fleet to date. I hope we can see a few more offerings from GGD soon.

Here are the final numbers of NS Delaware built by Golden Gate according to Scott Mann. 8-2rail and 4-3rail but due to orders I have I bought a 3rail ATSF and 3rail GN and will swap the bodies from two 2rail NS Delaware cars thus the result will be 6-2rail and 6-3rail. I am looking at what I can do with American Lightweight cars to make some more OCS cars.

Good evening, here are some photos my wife and I took at Conpit PA which is (Approximately) Mile Marker 287 on the NS main line here in PA.
We took these photos during some snow squeals that were passing thru the area on Saturday December 30 2017.
Outside temperature was about 6 degree's Fahrenheit.
I call these photo's dashing thru the snow !!!!!!!!!!

A couple of photos from the job in Baltimore last week. Here's the 9255 - the same one MTH recently released in the Premier line.
Loaded coal trains at Bayview yard waiting for their turn to CONSOL docks to unload.
A pair of GP38-2s taking autos to the port for export. That's the Northteast corridor behind the engines, and the CSX yard on the hill above them.
I do appreciate the photos every week. It's a good theme and I'll take a moment to apologize if I stepped on some toes with my previous comments. It burned my biscuits a little seeing my friend's pictures posted without permission. So let's just try to keep our content orginal as best we can but keep the pictures coming too!

My travels took me to Cleveland this week. Here's a shot from the Cleveland Intermodal Termina at Maple heights, OH with a westbound trailer train on the Main 1.
Later that night I was in Conway yard and took this photo of this neat tribute at the Conway Diesel shop.

The signals were made by a company called Custom Signals.

Good evening, here are a few photos from last weekend at Conpit. In the first photo you can see a train on the Sang Hollow track 3 waiting for quits turn to cross over to track 2.
The fourth photo is a loan head engine with an empty coal train heading west with no helpers on the rear. Somewhat more unusual for NS out on the main line.

That's nice with the video, but in question, how come did you save my photo of 6920 in Hudson Ohio from Jan 2017 and post using your profile? Just curious.
Yesterday evening here were 4 NS trains I saw in Rootstown Ohio.
Love to watch the mix of cars, also need to Google alliance shippers!
