I took our Lionel PRR T1 to the club layout last evening to test the track before ballasting for 'bad' areas. I found one spot on a curve where our K-Like Hudson derails while two scale Pacifics traverse OK. Wanted to run the longer wheelbase T1 through the same spot.  When I fired up the power it lit up but wouldn't respond at all. I unhooked the Legacy ground wire and tried again in conventional with no resoponse either. When I unhooked the tender from the locomotive it came on and sounds worked fine. Tred several times with several combinations of Legacy and conventional to no avail.

A small 0-8-0 ran fine so the transformer and electrical appeared OK. I checked to see if indeed the locomotive was in the 'run' position and it was.

When I returned home late I tried it here on my rest track and all worked as it should.  Any idea what may have happened? We ran some other trains Sunday evening at the club with no incident.
