G is my summer respite from O being cooped up..with a layout that is as big as space permits. Nothin fancy..but a lot of fun. Burlington Route may get a sense of deja vu as this is some of the G we swapped for O. There has been so much rain down here in Southern NC, that there hasnt been much opportunity to run.

Joe - He actually has ballast under most of it but the 2x6 treated boards that make the track platform have warped somewhat over the winter and much of the ballast has come off. I've offered to help him work on it this year. He has all narrow gauge equipment in various scales - about 5 of 'em!

Our previous home with the layout is in the trees on the mountain in these last two photos. About 2/3rd the way the mountain up above the rear of the PA...

Joe,  we moved (reluctantly) due to our age and the occasional harsh winters here. Several times we were stranded due to snow and ice on the road. Last May I fell in my yard and broke my ankle - we had virtually no flat ground and I was only weedeating.

The CFO insisted that we move back closer to town so I caved. It made good sense but we took an awful hit on the sale.  You know - 'Buy high and sell low'..
