HI FELLOW MEMBERS. Recently I posted a thread about not being able to get all the locomotives we think we need for several reasons. I don't want to go through all that once again. WE had agreed to produce up to 995 twin units which was 345 more than the generals. We could be in jepordy of only being able to get 650 pieces same as the generals. From a collectors standpoint thats great because you see how the low production numbers effected the value of the generals and SANTA FE 208 diesels. The bad news is those who procrastinate and don't pre-order could miss out. Basing on what is currently pre ordered we only have about 135 left to sell if the 650 number holds true. Normally the club gets a rush of orders the last week and a half. For example, its not unusual to get 300 additional orders for convention cars in those final ordering days.
i'm telling you if you wish to put down your deposit now you have a great chance of being on the receiving end.
