Outdoor O-ga in Rough Weather ? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi Everybody--

For those of you interested in operating your trains OUTDOORS especially when the weather isn't so great, there was an article years ago about a guy named "George Lake" who built an outdoor 2-rail O-scale layout on his property. It is very interesting and quite descriptive.

The article appeared in the APRIL-1951 Model Railroader magazine !

Here is the article from 1939 MR written by Boomer Pete (Al Kalmbach)... I'll search for the "George Lake" article on O-gauge Outdoors.

I heard that when Mr. Kalmbach saw my Grandpa's railroad, he couldn't believe his eyes! Enjoy !!
