Can anyone give me ideas about installing the small metal window wind deflectors on Overland diesels. I do not want to deform these, and it looks to be the only method to pop these buggers into the top and bottom holes on the cab window brackets. They do not look like spring steel, but just stamped thin metal parts....... Thanks in advance.

I would suggest try spreading the pieces that hold the deflectors verses bending the deflectors.
Don't attempt to bend them. They are soft and will not spring back. Instead, with a fine pair of needle nose pliers, very gently and carefully spread the loops on the side of the cab to until there is just enough clearance to insert the deflectors. These loops are brass and will break off if bent one time too many.
Install the wind deflectors/mirrors after finishing the paint job so that you only do it once.
Prior to installation, finish them with any clear or mirror treatments, as desired, and paint them. For mirrors I have achieved satisfactory results applying Real Metal chrome to thin styrene, then gluing the metal side to the rear side of the wind screen. I finish them by painting the back of the styrene the same color as the cab.

Thanks for the suggestions. These are factory painted engines, sooo......trying to bend the mounting loops may not be an option......
