i painted the interior of my railking PRR cars by first going online and looking up the way and colors they were painted in ..bought some acrilic paint and abrush...some sitting people from golden gate......it was easy took a little time but the results looking in the window were great!!!!
Thanks, for the tips John, I look up some stuff on golden gate. Merry christmas... Lion Vic
Thanks for the great idea Breezinup, thats certainly one approach I didn't consider. I have to figure out which car bodies would be adaptable to my current cars. Merry Christmas !!! Lion Vic
Brasseur Electric Trains has k-line heavyweight interior detail kits. They come with a floor that everything attaches to. You may have to modify them a little but those interiors would make a good starting point.

Good evening Coach Joe As I begin my journey on learning about various options, I will check this out as well sounds like something that might work. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for all the great ideas everyone !!! Merry chistmas to All , Lion Vic
I scratch built interiors for some of mine. Not sure I would recommend it. Not difficult, but very very repetitive - you get tiried of making dozens of seats, etc, and putting up walls for one sleeper compartment after another. Still, it permits you to do it exactly the way you want.
Lion Vic,
To further assist you if you go the K-Line Interior route the K-line passenger cars are numbered in the foloowing series:
4400 - Heavyweights
4500 - 13 1/2" Streamliners
4600 - 15" or 21" aluminum streamliners
4800 - 15" heavyweights
