He also took a video our of my wokbench, and held a video interview in which we discussed the current state and future of O scale in all its embodiments. Al tells me they should appear sometime soon

Your layout is a true work of art as was Al's video. I am a PRR addict and loved seeing the GREAT passenger consist lead by my favorite electric locomotive, the GG-1. I have ridden behind the GG-1 on the northeast corridor MANY times over the years. You have really captured northern New Jersey almost to the letter. Bravo!!!!!
John, your layout just shows how realistic 2 rail O scale can be. Your Lionel sharks look like brass ones, nice job.

Thank you everyone for the good words! It’s always good to have your work lauded by fellow O gauge Railroaders. A lot of the credit for the video goes to Al. Not only did he expertly video everything, he zoomed in and out to focus on what was being talked about. I also liked how he kept the talk conversational rather than letting it lapse into a monologue. It makes it more interesting
One of the reasons I agreed to this (I met Al at the most recent Strasburg show) was to expose a larger audience to what can be done in O Scale. If you look at the comments on to the video, it looks like that mission succeeded.
I have been enjoying some of his other layout tours.
