So, if you want to protect to pickup roller wiring when there are more than two rollers, can you use three PTCs where one side of each PTC is connected to one roller, and the other sides are connected together to whatever is being powered in the car?  I believe PTCs are modeled like very low value resisters when they are not tripped.  Shorting roller 1 and 2, or 2 and 3 will be like two PTCs in series (R*2, where R is 2-3 ohms?) and shouldn't change the trip current that much.  I guess?  Anyone know?
