Looking to make a small circle of standard gauge track. Thinking of the USA track to make a 42 inch circle. How many piece of track do I need. Would it be 8? I sent USA track 2 emails asking this and never got a reply. Also would you know if USA track sells the lock-ons for the standard gauge track to power the track. Would Hennings’s have these lock-ons?

I'm guessing that your emails must have gone to USA Track's spam filter.  I think that Kirk is @SGMA1 here on the forum.

You only need the ubiquitous UTC Lockon. You might already have one or two.

OP's profile says he lives in NJ, so there's probably a train show nearby.  UTC lockons, along with most other items related to tubular track, can be found very inexpensively.

Another alternative to soldering is to push a spade connector into the gap on the underside of the rail.
